A former LARP enthusiast and historical re-enactor. Brunhilda used to be well known in the scene, especially back in her home country of Sweden. She's always been known to have anger issues, but they weren't as detrimental to her life back then, especially when it was discovered to be related to having a diamond ability. When Brunhilda became pregnant with her daughter, she and her husband moved to Nirvana to raise her. Once settled in, she quickly became a pioneer in the city's LARP scene. However, Brunhilda's rage continued to worsen, eventually resulting in some catastrophic fights at events that carried on at home with her husband. After some time, Brunhilda was deemed too dangerous to be a mother. Her husband filed for divorce and full custody of their daughter, Ingrid. Broken and ashamed, she fled to Gehenna. Now, Brunhilda goes by the codename of 'Valkyrie' as a mercenary for hire, an unstoppable force. She longs to go home, but knows she never can.

Personality

Brunhilda is a proud warrior. Having trained for years in the art of combat, she aspires to emulate the strength of warriors in legends. She takes her craft very seriously, acquiring a variety of skills in the field for the most accuracy. In an actual fight, she is completely wild. She believes in treating every opponent equally, so that they can prove their true strength. If she sees her opponent cannot win, but has put in genuine effort, she may be inclined to let you go, or perform a warrior's send off if you die. If you manage to best her, she will be furious, but will ultimately respect you. However, if you're a coward or hold back, expect no mercy.

Regardless of her ability, Brunhilda has deep rooted anger issues. Her headstrong approach to everything has a tendency to get her in trouble. She is unshakeable in her stance, so when faced with opposition she makes her point with force. Even when the results are disastrous, she is rarely remorseful for her actions, as long as she believes she's right. One of her only regrets in life has been severing the relationship with her daughter, Ingrid. She doesn't feel she is able to atone for this, not for a long time. This has essentially caused Brunhilda to lose much of her morality. She's willing to take on some of the most reprehensible jobs as penance. However, she refuses to let go fully of her original name, in case of a miracle that'll allow her to come home.

Brunhilda also believes highly in tradition, especially cultural tradition. She's a devout follower of Norse paganism, with her patron of choice being Freyja. In times of doubt and pain, she looks to Freyja for advice. She has managed to sustain a personal shrine in her new home where she can performs rituals, make offerings or find solace. More than anything, Brunhilda often prays for Freyja to watch over her Ingrid. When she isn't being used for battle, Brunhilda can often be found drinking or eating away her sorrows. It is not wise to interrupt her like this without good reason.
