This French brooding sniper is the less volatile of Mally's bodyguards/lovers. Like the rest of the crew, he too came to the city under mysterious circumstances alongside his mistress. He has rumoured familial origins in Nirvana, but any investigators are swiftly dealt with. Roux can usually be seen hanging at the back of the crew, having a smoke. But, if you cross a line and turn away, even just for a second, he disappears. In that moment, you need to quickly find out where the bullet will be coming from. His unassuming demeanour lets him blend into the crowd. Because of this, Roux is a difficult person to a catch. Even if you do, he refuses to speak outside of his native language, so you'd better bring a translator. He's also rumoured to be one Gehenna's best medics, but is only willing to use his skills if ordered to, or offered a very high price. His difficult attitude makes him a less viable target of recruitment, though small time gangs still like to have a go at catching him, to little success.

Personality

Roux has little outward personality to speak of. His apathetic disdain for the world is blatant, and his unwillingness to partake in it even more so. Antisocial and nihilistic, he barely speaks or engages with others. Even when he does, he deliberately makes the situation more difficult than needed. Partly out of pride, he refuses most of the time to not speak in French. He keeps encounters brief with short, empty answers, representing his empty soul. The faster he can make the other person uncomfortable so they leave, the better for him.

There's a level of complexity to his core than takes a lot of digging to find. Roux has felt he's been drifting without control for a long time, and this perspective affects how he treats himself. He crumbles under pressure and despises having expectations placed upon him that he is unhappy to fulfil. Despite his own medical knowledge, he has little regard for his own body. Roux frequently smokes and partakes in drugs or alcohol occasionally. When people are injured, he's often treats his own wounds last.

When Mally is around, these behaviours become less extreme. He lives for their relationship, to a point of unhealthy obsession. Roux will follow her orders blindly, no matter the issues it will cause. On the other hand, he will also take better care of himself when he sees his lover's genuine concern. He feels he owes much to Mally, especially the freedom and identity he was missing in the past.

Despite the apathy, Roux does have mild interest in a couple of hobbies. He considers himself a cultured man, watching old movies, whipping up fancy meals or perusing art online.
