A popular girl in many ways, So-Mi displays an energetic, cheerful persona that loves everything and everyone. She's a beacon of sunshine on a dark day. When people are feeling rough she's the best friend that sits with you, offering bright words of encouragement until you feel better. Around adults, So-Mi is polite, having much experience interview experience. She's not one to question authority, going along with what is asked of her if it seems okay. So-Mi's stage presence is something to truly be admired. Having trained from a young age, combined with her ability, she has inconceivable talent that woos over almost any crowd. Her energy is boundless, refusing to show any flaws. She likes to utilises colour changing clothes or equipment to add a unique flair to her movements.

Once off the stage however, So-Mi is a lot quieter. She doesn't tend to tell people, but she's actually very shy by nature. Tae-Ran, her older sister, tries to stop her pushing her social limits. So-Mi's desire to entertain outweighs her own needs. When she was younger she mostly performed in small plays, which she was comfortable with. However, after being recruited by and pushed into an idol career, So-Mi just started pushing herself through it. Nowadays, this can lead to her getting overwhelmed if she's not careful.

On top that, So-Mi harbours major anxiety regarding her trans identity. She is extremely grateful that the agency helped her start her transition. However, she feels some guilty about the fact she didn't have to struggle for it like a lot of her transgender fans had and still have to. At times she feels like an imposter. That, and sometimes she still receives online hate or death threats. Tae-Ran is careful to screen these though. But, when she's in a good mental state she gets through this by doing her part to support her community, by raising donations for charities, speaking out on issues and such.

Though she left K-Pop behind, So-Mi is enjoying learning the keyboard as part of her new band, H0L0graphic. Outside of music, she finds interest in other forms of traditional Korean art. She loves to learn about culture in history, and how art developed across the world, hoping to study it for her degree. So-Mi also just likes to spend time with her friends, indulging in their hobbies or interests.
