Nectar

Nectar comes from a relatively normal family in Belgium. The most significant thing to happen before coming to Gehenna was coming out as trans to his family. Nectar's parents were less than understanding. They'd refuse to acknowledge his gender identity, comparing him heavily to his little sister Ambrosia, who in contrast was very supportive of him. The stress caused Nectar to quit his former ballet lessons and, eventually, turn to substance abuse. It spiralled into him sneaking into clubs, smoking, and taking ecstasy a few times. This had resulted in him getting hospitalised one time. Luckily, his sister discovered she had a diamond brain, so he was encouraged to get tested as well, since she'd been noticing that he was showing traits of one too. Once he came up positive, Ambrosia suggested they leave home to live on Tolentino together. No argument about it, Nectar picked Gehenna so they could have a fresh start, free of restriction. After being taken under the wing of trans elder DJazz, he managed to find work in being a citywide errand boy, whilst Ambrosia opened a bakery. Unfortunately, old habits die hard and as much as he was trying to quit, he ended up addicted to the local drug syrup.

Personality

Nectar embodies the image of the moody teenager. He's irritable and groans like the dead when he's ordered around, even though he'll usually manage to drag himself to do it. His restlessness and inability to sit still have made it difficult for him stick to one job. He quite enjoys the errand boy gig though, as this way he can have a bit of variety, running all over the place. Nectar is pretty good at reserving any judgement, taking on any job without question.

When Nectar is in a good mood, he's almost a different person. The moody teen becomes an absolute delight to be around. He'll help his sister bake, engage in activities with his few friends, dance at the club, even helping DJazz test out new ideas for her brawling competitions. Though he might tease her at times, Nectar genuinely cares a lot for his sister. When he can, he tries to pay her back for all the time she spends looking after him.

However, even after moving Nectar never had the time to overcome his substance abuse issues. He tried to go cold turkey for Ambrosia, but a few bad situations later ended up with Nectar getting addicted to the city's local drug 'Syrup'. For him, it creates an elevation in his energy and mood temporarily. If he's not safe at home, the bakery, on a job or with DJazz, it's likely he'll be found in junkyard, high on syrup. People are slowly trying to help him, but it's been a slow, painful journey.

Weapon: Power Boots

Nectar's boots are designed for increased speed and have gun-like capabilities. Through a forceful kick the boots can fire a bullet. There's also a retractable blade in the front of each boot.

Fighting Style: Nectar has some training in the art of savate. He prefers not to engage in combat, usually staying on the defence until he can escape.
