Geography

Heavily urban, sometimes naturally grown plant life is scarce, with the occasional weeds pokes out of the ground. You can also find ivy trailing on some of the walls There is a mild pollution problem that gets worse closer to the junkyard. Vermin such as rats or birds tend to flock around the city.

Architecture

The architecture can be incredibly creative and modern, particularly in the more developed areas. A lot of it reflects quite a futuristic or gothic punk style. Deeper into the rougher areas, the buildings are more dilapidated and simple in design, especially in some of the residential areas. The most standout piece is the unusually ornate Vittore mansion.

Culture

A key component of the city's culture is that most people upon here shed their legal names and adopt a new, chosen name to reflect their identity. These can be chosen by yourself or given to you by someone else. Aside from this, the people of Gehenna adopt a very carefree attitude towards everything.

Their entertainment can be graphic, excessive and violent. People are more visually expressive, often getting extreme augmentations, for combat and decoration. The majority of people will carry some form of weapon for protection. Many go all out and get custom built weapons, using them in sparring matches.

Lucifer Broadcasting holds the monopoly on media. 

Gehenna's population is widely diverse, so people tend to rely on judging each other by actions and character.

Transport

​

There is no set public transport system. However, like most things, everything can become a service in Gehenna. There are some set roads but people tend to use whatever routes they choose. High-tech motorbikes are the most popular choice for the adaptability. Limos and cars have been seen as well, usually belonging to the more affluent citizens.

Politics

​

Gehenna has no set law system. People are free to act as they wish, with the core intention that they will obey their own moral system. However, once the Vittore family moved in, people have shifted towards a system of obeying whoever has the most strength and power. The Vittore's hold the top spot, but other individuals hold notable positions. Don Vittore himself tries to keep a general sense of peace. Those who act in moral apprehensible ways will catch the end of his weapons.

History

During the initial year that Gehenna was established, there was mass chaos. Trying to build up any sort of organisation proved a difficult and lengthy process, with few succeeding in their endeavour thanks to influence. Gangs ran amok in the early days, vying over territory in the city.

Lucifer Broadcasting was one of the first major businesses implemented, immediately sinking their claws into everything. The money they produced was used to help profit a few other business connected to them. Once the Vittore family mafia moved into their own personal mansion, they too had heavy influence. Their money went out to fund people where they saw fit in return for favours and building their mob. Overtime, between these two organisations the gang problem was quelled. Gangs still exist, though not many and are generally small in size. If they make too much noise, they're usually dealt with quickly. 

In current times, most major citywide issues are run through the media and the mafia.
