DJazz made a name for herself in the music scene under the name DJ Page. In her late teens she was already spitting out beats and playing small festivals in Jamaica. She was raised mostly by her protective grandmother after being rejected by her parents when coming out as a trans woman. Despite being tested positive for a diamond ability, her grandmother was insistent she stayed with her in Jamaica. Once she came out publicly though, DJazz quickly became a viral sensation. Despite the expected backlash, her confidence was infectious. DJazz changed her name to Jasmine and started doing combined music and motivational tours. She started playing even bigger festivals globally, further increasing her fame. After her grandmother passed away, she decided to take her standing invitation and settle down in Gehenna. Now that she'd done her part for representation around the world, she also wanted to specifically support more LGBTQ diamond brains like her. DJazz opened her own club, the Supernova, and now brings music to the people of Gehenna.

Personality

DJazz is a stubborn soul. Headstrong and iron-willed, once she has a goal in mind she's nigh on unstoppable. Even just convincing her to change something up even a little, if not done correctly, will earn you a smack in the face. DJazz takes nothing from no-one. No excuses, no bullshit. If she's asks you to get a job done, you find a way to do it.

Due to multiple reasons, she's had to fight her way through so many barriers to success. Now that she managed to fight through, DJazz is determined to stay at the top. She might come across a bit harsh sometimes. Her hot-headedness especially is a reaction to having to stand up for her identity. This influences her distrust of the mafia, as her desire for freedom counteracts with the mafia's goal of control.

However, she isn't as unapproachable as she sometimes may appear. She lives off the lessons her grandmother taught her, living freely and providing happiness in the form of music for people. She's also savvy businesswoman who knows how to take charge.

DJazz, for all her faults in socialising, does genuinely care about her friends. She might be wary at first, especially around idiots or thugs. But, if you continue to prove you can be trusted, then you've made an extremely loyal friend. DJazz gets quite protective of her friends, but also kids and other trans people. Her protective nature might be her key weakness, as those emotions override careful thinking.
