An infamous information broker living in Gehenna, Mally has something of a mixed reputation. She started out being known as Maleficent, until it was shortened for convenience. It's currently unknown why she came here or how she usurped the position from the previous job holder. However, she does seem to be extremely competent at the job. That is, when she wants to be. Her unpredictability and wavering loyalties have made Mally a difficult figure to trust. She could be your saviour, or the devil incarnate, depending entirely on her mood on the day. Flanked by her lovers/bodyguards at almost all times, she's not one to be messed with. Rumours swirl at the potential, devious things that Mally has done. But, with no concrete evidence nor witnesses behind it, she continues to carry on her business without repercussions.

Personality

Mally is a hard person to figure out, since she hides her core personality under many layers of misdirection. At times, she doesn't even remember her real self. Some think she might a sociopath or psychopath, but keeps it channelled through her unwavering smile and unsettling giggles. Meeting her can almost feel like a test. She'll bombard you with endless, curious questions about seemingly random things. However, what she's doing is building your profile. How you continue to react after that will determine the way she ends up treating you. She tends to manipulate the ignorant, and pester the more aware. Whether it's in jest, or has malicious intention, is nearly impossible to determine.

Undeniably, Mally is extremely clever. Though she mostly uses her intelligence for her games. Mally can hold her own on an academic level when challenged. Research is second to her. She is also obsessed with choice, exploring the possibilities of how to achieve certain outcomes. That, and she plays with the reactions of humans in reality as well. Sometimes, she considers herself something other than human, since she doesn't feel she acts the same way as normal people do. It's almost as though Mally feels disconnected from reality.

Mally may not develop meaningful attachments to most people, but she does have the capacity for love. This tends to be reserved for the people that fascinate her most; the ones that are able to scratch beyond the immediate layer of her personality.

Outside of her malevolent behaviour, Mally can be described as simply quite childish. She treats everything like a game, acting silly and talking in strange voices. She's often found buying sweets at the bakery, riding the ferris wheel, buying and breaking toys, among other activities.
