Diamond Brain
As humanity developed, alongside the rapid technological and societal advancements, Diamond Brains are a biological advancement, named as such to build on the old term ‘golden brain’. People born with these kinds of brains have specific sections that are highly developed and are influenced by a combination of genetics, environment and personal interests. These abilities manifest themselves in various forms. Some are more common than others, and new ones are always cropping up. These abilities can develop regardless of most other pre-existing mental or genetic physical conditions. These abilities can develop regardless of existing health conditions (though head injuries have been known to have an effect of development), and manifest at any point in a person’s life, though it’s rare for them to do so after reaching your early twenties. Although there are many people with similar abilities, no two will ever be exactly alike; sort of like a fingerprint.
To be registered for an ability, a candidate goes through a series of tests carried out by specialists working in neurology and psychology. Once diagnosed, you’re placed on the DAD (Diamond Ability Database).
