Prime Minister Volkov's number one assistant, Zirconia is effectively second in command. Coming from a war torn environment, she was extremely lucky to be have made it out alive to Nirvana, but unfortunate to have been the only one who was able to leave. On top of offering advice, due to her boss's physical state Zirconia also carries out a lot of the legwork for Mischa. She can be seen all over the city most days. Her take charge attitude is renowned, inspiring others to get to work when they feel sluggish. Zirconia is fairly well known for her quirky behaviour. Small, sassy but sometimes a bit shy, her attempts to seem intimidating are often met with a chorus of people calling her cute. That pouty face can convince anyone to listen though. When she's off the clock, she loosens up and can be found going out for a round of drinks with whomever she can drag along. Also, if you see her walking her aptly named dog Ugly in public, don't comment on its looks, lest you want her to be sad.

Personality

Zirconia perfectly balances the line between a leader and a follower. She suits her role as a second in command well, as she can quickly jump into taking charge when given the permission to do so. She's efficient, ensuring the job is done quickly but correctly. Zirconia aspires to be the kind of leader than can be assertive and demanding. But, because of her stature and soft voice, people don't always take her seriously. She will pout when upset, which only makes her look cuter. Being rather docile by nature, it's difficult for her speak up more about it.

What also doesn't help is the fact that she's incredibly stubborn. It's extremely difficult to sway her opinion or ask her to do something other than her own idea. That is, unless she holds some level of respect for the person or she deems their request reasonable to her standards. Though she can keep calm with certain people, Zirconia does irritate easily. Even if it doesn't come across as strongly as she intends, she can often be sharp-tongued with people. Though, if it's heat of the moment she may apologise later for it. This irritation isn't always unfounded. Having grown up in a war zone, combined with ostracization for her sexuality, Zirconia has become quite a defensive person. She struggles with PTSD for her childhood because of it, causing her to experience horrible, vivid nightmares. Zirconia hates the state of the world, but she also wants to improve it. So, she's trying to work through the pain to achieve that goal.

When she cools off, Zirconia can be quite pleasant. She especially enjoys the occasional night out. Known for her bar crawls around the office, it's considered an honour if she invites you along to one. By herself she likes to take trips to the zoo or walk her dog, Ugly. Her dog was initially named that way as a joke, but she is fiercely protective of her pet. If you insult it, she will be very upset. Animals frustrate her less than people. She has a soft spot for birds especially.

Because of her abrasive personality and frequent nightmares, Zirconia tends to struggle with her romantic life, finding herself unable to hold down a partner very long. She secretly frequent dating sites or bars looking for a new girlfriend. Erin, despite them briefly dating in the past, sometimes gives her dating tips.
